This notice explains Afrolynx IT Solutions' website practices. It should be reviewed alongside the organisation's internal POPIA policies and contracts and is not legal advice.

- To meet contractual, accounting, legal and regulatory obligations.

We process information where it is necessary to respond to your request, pursue a legitimate operational purpose, perform a contract, comply with law, or where you have given consent.
4. Cookies and browser storage
Necessary storage
We store your cookie preference in your browser so the site remembers whether analytics was accepted or rejected. This is required to honour your choice.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics remains blocked until you select “Accept analytics”. If enabled, it may use first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and provide aggregated usage reports. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain disabled. You can change your choice at any time.
5. Service providers and transfers
The contact form is transmitted to FormSubmit for email delivery. Google provides analytics only after consent. Google Maps content on the contact page and Google-hosted fonts may receive technical request information when loaded. Hosting, email and technology suppliers may process information under their own infrastructure and contractual terms, including outside South Africa where lawful safeguards are used.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, contractual and support requirements, dispute handling, and applicable law. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access or correction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or ask for deletion where retention is not legally required. Contact us using the details above. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator. Users of apps published or operated by Afrolynx may submit an account and associated data deletion request through our Data Deletion page.
